Paul Griffiths joins APC Overnight’s board of directors with 25 years’ experience of the logistics industry, having overseen the success of Harrogate-based Able Couriers since 1989. Paul’s latest tenure marks the start of his second spell on the APC Overnight board, having had a directorial role between 2006 and 2012.

With a wealth of experience in the independent retail sector prior to his current role as Managing Director of Able Couriers, Paul’s role on the APC Overnight board of directors will see him use his knowledge of both customer needs and delivery capabilities.

Paul commented: “As the proud owner of a delivery firm which has provided outstanding results for customers for a number of years, I am looking forward to the challenge of helping the APC Overnight network continue to achieve consistently high standards.

As part of the organisation’s continued growth, Mark Fletcher, the firm’s Finance Director, will also take on the role of Company Secretary. Mark has worked for the Company for more than 17 years and has provided strong financial leadership along with financial strategies that have facilitated the year-on-year growth of the business. Mark has in-depth Company knowledge and is ideally placed to oversee the effective administration of the business as it aims to achieve year-on-year growth for the 20th successive year.

The two new appointments follow Ivor Skinner’s retirement from the APC Overnight board of directors; a position he held for 15 years, whilst also fulfilling a number of key executive positions including that of Managing Director.
