Ascendex Limited launches operations with The APC network

Ascendex Limited has today announced it has joined The APC – the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network. The move marks a major milestone for the newly formed North East business as it launches overnight parcel services for SMEs across the region.

Established in December 2024, Ascendex recently took over the DH, NE and SR postcodes and is backed by a highly experienced team of warehouse staff, drivers and office management, all working together to deliver reliable, responsive services that support the needs of local businesses.

The move reflects the growing demand for next-day parcel delivery in the North East and Ascendex’s commitment to supporting SMEs with tailored logistics solutions. By leveraging The APC’s nationwide network, the company can connect local businesses with a growing customer base while supporting a wide range of industries, including those requiring specialist handling such as liquids and limited quantities.

Already a key employer in the region, Ascendex has further expanded its team with five new members to support its growth. The business has appointed a General Manager to oversee depot operations, alongside new roles in customer service and warehouse operations. These additions strengthen the company’s service offering and ensure SMEs across the North East receive efficient and responsive support as demand continues to grow.
