Recruitment Day for Former City Link Employees
APC Overnight announced on Tuesday 30th December that it was making up to 100 jobs available to former City Link employees, following the news of mass redundancies as a result of City Link going into administration.
Speaking at the time APC Overnight CEO, Karl Brown, said: “This is an extremely difficult time for City Link staff members and their families. Following discussions with board members we’ve made the decision to prioritise City Link staff for the job vacancies we currently have on offer.”
The recruitment day will be held between 12.00 pm and 5.00 pm on Tuesday 6th January and attendees are encouraged to ring ahead to register their interest on 01922 702544. Those who have already submitted applications will be contacted by APC Overnight directly, with details about the recruitment event.
Speaking about the event, APC Overnight Head of Human Resources, Emma Scott, said: “We’ve organised the recruitment day to provide further information on the roles we currently have on offer. There are some highly talented people out there at the moment that are unfortunately now having to look for new jobs and we want to do all we can to make them aware of some of the opportunities that are available to them here at APC.”
