The APC enhances redelivery options and expands on Parcelly partnership

The APC network - the largest independent parcel delivery network in the UK - has announced the launch of new enhancements to its APC Choice platform to offer an improved customer experience, as well as an expansion on its partnership with Parcelly.

A number of enhancements have been introduced to give recipients more choice and flexibility to amend their delivery, whilst reducing the number of interactions and touchpoints throughout their entire customer journey.

For recipients of parcels:

From 15th April 2024, The APC’s previous redelivery booking platform, APC Called, will be migrated into APC Choice. This will enable recipients to rebook their delivery if they have received a calling card, or select alternative delivery options, all in one place.
Recipients will also be able to rebook their delivery via APC Choice if the driver has not been able to access their address after calling an intercom.

A further option for recipients will enable them to have their parcel redirected to a Parcelly location to collect at their convenience.

These new features are another example of The APC’s commitment to making things simpler and more convenient for both customers and recipients, giving customers control to manage their own delivery services, whilst giving recipients the increased flexibility and choice when their parcel is on its way to them.
