Dash Express, a division of The Dash Group and part of The APC delivery network - the UK’s largest independent parcel delivery network - has announced further expansion in the South West with the opening of a new, larger site located in Cullompton. The new site will serve as Dash Express’ new ‘Exeter’ location, strengthening its regional presence and achieving full service coverage across the South West with the company also expanding its delivery coverage to include Taunton, Somerset and North Devon.

Located just 14 miles outside of Exeter, the new 11,000 sq. ft. facility marks a major milestone in The Dash Group’s regional growth strategy. The Exeter site doubles Dash Express’ previous capacity and provides improved access to the M5 corridor, enabling faster, more efficient deliveries and enhanced regional reach for local businesses. By bringing together operations previously managed across Exeter and North Devon, Dash Express will also be able to improve operational efficiency and deliver an even higher level of service for SMEs across Devon, Cornwall and parts of Somerset and Dorset.

Already a key employer in the region with over 170 staff across its operations, Dash Express’ new facility will include a team of more than 35 people. Mike Read will head up the Exeter business as Depot General Manager having recently transferred from Dash Express’ Plymouth site. Mike's experience and leadership will be key as the business continues to strengthen its presence in Exeter, which is seen as a major opportunity for growth for The Dash Group.
